And there she was
Looking to the far end of the sea,
Straining herself to see what lies in the other end of the sea.
She was said only waves reside there,
high and strong waves.
She wished she were taller, taller than the high waves.
And only then she could see what lies beyond the sea.
Love the simplistic emphasis. The sea is my favorite metaphor.

Nice poem, though I think dramatically it should be ‘lies on the other end’ rather than ‘lies in the other end’
